  *Category changes due to weight changes or belt promotion must be decided and submitted by May 21th, 2026.
  *If there are any discrepancies between the application details and the entry list, please be sure to submit a correction request at that time.
• Registration Checkday: May 24th, 2026 0:00 ～ 23:59 JST
  *Changes to the Registration Checkday can only be requested if there are no opponents in the weight class category (single entry) or if only members from the same dojo are entered.

• Cancellation application Day (for single entry only): May 27th, 2026, 0:00 – 23:59 JST
  *Cancellations due to injury, work, etc. will be accepted at any time.

Athlete Correction
Athlete Alone in the Division, please submit your request using the designated “correction request form” within the change Registration Checkday.
*Please note that absence due to Athlete circumstances (injury, work, etc.) will inconvenience your opponent, so please submit a withdrawal/cancellation request form at that time.
a. If your name is not on the entry list, or if it differs from your application details, please contact us immediately to make corrections.
b. After the final deadline, if there is no opponent or only Athletes from the same academy in the category, you can request a category change during the change application period.
c. After adjusting the change application period, if there is no opponent or only Athletes from the same academy, you can request a cancellation. *If you wish to cancel for the above reasons, please be sure to submit your request during the cancellation application period. Please note that cancellation requests made outside the cancellation application deadline will be invalid. However, if you are absent due to injury, please submit a withdrawal/cancellation request form at that time.
d. If your opponent is absent on the day of the tournament and the tournament is not held, you can cancel on the day. Even if you cancel on the day of the event, the participation fee will be refunded later by your credit card company.

Regarding refund requests due to cancellation:
Refunds due to cancellation (only for those eligible for a refund) will be processed by your credit card company at a later date after the event. The timeframe and instructions for receiving the refund will vary depending on your credit card company.

Regarding the finalization of the Entry List
After the entry list finalization date, no additions, corrections, changes, or cancellations due to registration omissions or other reasons will be accepted. The responsibility for checking the entry list rests clearly with the competitor.

ELIGIBILITY

• Athletes who understand and agree to the competition guidelines.
• A healthy athlete who is not suffering from a highly contagious disease.
• Athletes must be covered by injury liability insurance, such as sports safety insurance.
  *Each participant is solely responsible for their own insurance coverage. While the tournament doctor will provide first aid for injuries sustained during the competition, subsequent treatment will be the responsibility of each individual, covered by their sports insurance or similar.

MEDALS

• Athletes who place in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their division will receive a medal at the event.
• All the medals should be picked up at the event’s podium. JBJJF does not mail out unclaimed or lost medals after the tournaments.

ATTENTION

• Important information regarding tournament registration
• All Athletes must check their registration details after submitting their application to ensure that the information is accurately reflected.
• This tournament will be conducted according to the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu rules established by the IBJJF.
• If you are unable to participate due to injury or other reasons after registering, please promptly submit a withdrawal/cancellation request form. Failure to do so without prior notice may result in being barred from participating in future competitions.
• If you contract a highly contagious illness such as COVID-19 or influenza after registering to participate, please report it to your affiliated academy immediately and submit a withdrawal/cancellation request form at that time.
• The right to participate cannot be transferred under any circumstances.
• Please be sure to bring a valid photo ID with you on the day of the competition. If any false information is found in the applicant’s registration details, their participation will be canceled, and they may be prohibited from participating in future competitions.
• All copyrights, portrait rights, and related rights concerning this tournament belong to the JBJJF.
• Applications will close once the maximum number of participants is reached.

• Important information regarding the day of the competition
• To prevent substitutions, false applications, and incorrect tournament order, you will need to present identification (ID card, driver’s license, passport, etc.) to participate in the tournament. *This will be checked at registration.
• If your gi or uniform violates any regulations, you may be disqualified from the competition. We recommend bringing a spare gi or uniform.
• The tournament order will be indicated on the tournament bracket. Please be sure to check the tournament bracket.
• The estimated start times will be determined by the order of the tournaments. It will be posted on the tournament page on the day the tournament bracket is published, so please check in advance and arrive by the designated time.
• The weigh-in will be conducted only once, immediately before the first round (first match). Failure to pass the weigh-in will result in disqualification.
• A check of the Gi will be conducted before each tournament.
• If a Athlete does not appear after the final call by the staff, they will be disqualified.
• All Athletes who enters or exits the field from a location other than the designated entrance or exit (e.g., by climbing over a fence) will be immediately disqualified.
• You are allowed to rehydrate after weighing, but please be sure to keep track of your own water bottles and other fluids and do not leave them unattended in the venue.
• The use of loudspeakers, megaphones, musical instruments, noisemakers, etc., for cheering or seconding is strictly prohibited.
